How To Disable Cortana Permanently in Windows 10

If you are not using cortana then you can disable it permanently to improve the performance of your windows 10. You can turn off Cortana temporarily by going into the settings and then turn off all the options. To turn off Cortana permanently follow these steps- 1. Right-click the start menu and open the Run dialog box. 2. Type there "regedit" and open the registry editor. 3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows And highlight the Windows registry key then right-click on blank space on the right-hand side and create a new Key. Name this key as "Windows Search". After creating the key highlight it and right-click on the blank space and create new DWORD(32-bit) value. After creating the new key and double click on it and assign a value of 0 and hit OK. Now restart your computer and Cortana would be disabled. If you want to enable Cortana again then assign a value of 1 or delete the created key.
